Kennedy and I took these photos last week and it looks nothing like this now.. It’s suddenly much, much fuller..
Each size of bed gets its own bin and then I keep the pillow cases in a separate little basket in the middle just cause I like to change the pillowcases on the beds a little more often than the sheets.these fabric bins.
because they keep everything looking impeccably tidy if you don’t want to spend a long time fussing over folding your sheets perfectly and they’re a super cost-effective solution.. We plan on adding another row of cabinets inside the actual bedroom eventually and you can see that we need them!Like a lot of old houses, we don’t have a linen closet so I definitely need somewhere to put my collection of plaid blankets and other various forms of blanketry.I have a few here and a few in a giant basket.
I’m also pretty fond of beach towels, and we always seem to go through them so quickly in the summer, so I think I’ll probably need this whole cupboard for them soon. But it works for now, even if it’s pretty jammed-full in there.. Clear glass vases of different shapes and sizes are always handy to have around so I keep those in this cupboard.. … And then I have this cupboard for my milk glass and my blue and white stuff.
You can see that some of my vases are currently in-use and that’s why there are some gaps in there.
This cupboard is right directly across from the bathroom door and it holds all the extra medicines, vitamins, and toiletry type stuff. This is the time of year when the corn grows taller by the hour,.
And you give up on fighting weeds and bugs altogether.. You just run out with little planks of wood everyday and try to cradle the melons and cucumbers and keep them safe until they’re ready.. And take a big metal bowl to fill up with your harvest as fast as you can before the sun gets too hot and your courage for dealing with bees buzzing around your head wears out.. And then you forget once again to rinse off your veggies BEFORE coming inside and scream at the little buggies that come crawling out into your sink.. Yup, it’s exactly that time of year in our garden right now. Most normal folk would probably classify this as a “weed”.If you’ve been hanging out around here for long, you may know that I love weeds.
So much so that I may even from time to time call them “plants”..So what is this plant?
